This notice explains which personal data we process on this website and why. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Visiting this website

This website is a set of static files that an ObjectGateway website bucket serves. When you open a page, the server receives technical data that every browser sends: your IP address, the time, the requested address, and your browser type. We use this data only to deliver the website and to keep it secure.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. It loads no fonts, scripts, or other content from third parties.

Product updates

If you subscribe to product updates, we store your email address, your name if you give one, the list that you joined, and the times of your subscription and confirmation. We use this data only to send you news about ObjectGateway.

• We host the mailing list ourselves, with the open-source software listmonk, and send every email from our own mail server. No external service receives your data.
• After you sign up, you get an email with a confirmation link (double opt-in). We send no further email until you confirm.
• The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in each email or by email to us. We then delete your data from the list.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, and for its correction or deletion. You can object to its processing. Write to the address above. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to a data protection authority in the EU.
